DevOps Engineer
Location: Cork Or Dublin

What you’ll be doing:
Supporting the project team in keeping our code management facility running efficiently and continuously for a global community and providing automated reports
Using appropriate tools and technologies to support our CI/CD capability in an embedded Linux environment.
Supporting resolution of issues detected in the dev ops environment
Qualifications
Qualifications & experience:
An honours degree or post-graduate qualification in computer science, electronic engineering, or related field.
Good understanding of DevOps technologies such as CI/CD.
Effective communication skills
Familiar with security issues and challenges associated with deployment and ongoing testing in a lab environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
What is desired:
Strong scripting knowledge & familiarity using Puppet, Python and Bash. (C and C++ development also an advantage).
Experience of working in a secure and efficient DevOps environment.
Familiar with Jenkins, Jira or similar tools and concepts.
Familiarity with AWS VPC environments
Experience with Gerrit and/or GitHub
Linux experience
Strong understanding of version control, specifically Git
Knowledge and experience of SQL databases
